Workday 2011: A Big Thank You To Everyone Who Participated

One day. One community. Once again, Sharefest's Workday was a success! This year we were able to add dozens of sites and hundreds of project activities to the lineup, and we completed hundreds of thousands of dollars more worth of projects. In the course of one overcast and at times drizzly day, another bright step was made in bringing real changes to the South Bay that help us realize our vision of communities of care.

It goes without say that the Workday and all of the great projects that are completed would not have been possible without the support and commitment of you - our sponsors, adopting organizations, and volunteers. Many of this year's projects involved getting your hands dirty and solving problems along the way. But they also included building new relationships, finding joy in watching beauty come from your hard work, and being a part of accomplishing change on a larger scale that leaves a meaningful and lasting imprint on our communities. We really appreciate your contributions, and realize that turning our vision into positive changes that we live and experience is not possible without you.
